KEVIN ZHENG
Praised by the Classical Voice of North Carolina for his “amazing technical competence, musical sensitivity, and commanding stage presence,” Kevin has performed on stages around the world for over 20 years. At the age of 15, he represented the USA in the Menuhin International Violin Competition, known as "The Olympics of the Violin".

Kevin has been teaching violin for more than a decade. His students have performed in Carnegie Hall and hold top chairs in their orchestras. He has a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from Rice University, a Master of Music in Violin Performance from Yale, and a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics from Yale.
When he is not teaching, Kevin is an active performer, the music director and conductor of the New Haven Chamber Orchestra and a biostatistician for the US government.
